Red Drop Wines was created in China by 4 unconditional French and italian wine lovers having deep and professional wine knowledge. We realized after many years of living in the vibrant Shanghai how difficult it was to find good wines at descent prices here. Our aim is to pour in your glasses the best price per value wines from prestigious and affordable winemakers. We consider that providing wine knowledge is complete part of our mission ! Come join us at our event and let’s share a good glass of wine together! At Red Drop Wines, we procure much more than wines ! 

We are specialized in French and Italian Wines but our portfolio covers the complete old world and new world. We have a careful selection process of our portfolio. Only products who are approved unanimously by the tasting committee have a chance to integrate our selection.

Red Drop operates in China, and has offices in Shanghaï and Beijing.

Since two years and thanks to our evolution, Red Drop is the property owner of Domaine Saint-Luchaïre in the South of France. The estate is located on the terroir known as "Les Mourels". The Mourels are rocky ridges formed by geological layers raised and crowned by a sandstone bench. Click on the button to get more information on it !

Nicolas Carré, Red Drop's Sommelier

Graduate of the University of Wine, Nicolas works as sommelier and in the wine education field for 28 years (including 20 years of experience in Asia : Vietnam, Philippines and China). He is Red Drop CEO and executive sommelier in charge of the wine selection for Red Drop wines.

Nicolas CARRE has an in deep knowledge of the local market the business structure (importers, distributors and local producers). You might have meet Nicolas around China during wine events along with others International food & beverage personalities (Jancis Robinson, Bettane & Desseauve, Marc Veyrat...).

Nicolas publishes also articles and reviews on wine, participate to many tastings and lectures for Chinese magazines and governmental organizations.

Nicolas is also passionate about tea and take part as much as he can to tastings, conferences, training and cooperation with tea producers of the region of Fujian.
